Heavier Penalty
Just a thought…In light of recent heavy flooding here in Metro Manila, much also has to be said about the blatant littering and garbage mismanagement of most people (not to mention squatters living beside rivers).
Most of us are disgusted to see garbage in our own backyard yet don’t mind throwing them on the sidewalks just as long as they are far from our residences. Hypocrites are what they are. Frustrating!
What about utility corporations (such as Manila Water, Maynilad et al.) who do road excavations and construction work yet never cleaning up afterwards?! Months of digging… and in the course of their inefficient operation, block sewerages and water passages with excess cement rendering our drainages useless.A stiffer form of punishment should be enforced…
